How Do I Open My Third Eye?
There are two approaches in opening the third eye. The first approach is by going to someone who "claims" he or she can open your third eye. This approach has dangerous repercussions. The vibratory rate of your body may not be ready to receive higher energies necessary to operate higher spiritual faculties.
Let us recall an episode on the Old Testament. The Hebrews wandered in the desert for 40 years carrying with them the arc of the covenant, their holy of holies. In their wanderings, a story was told that the arc of the covenant was about to fall to the ground from its pedestal. It was revered by the Hebrews as a sacred place of their God. Even the high priests need to purity themselves to be worthy of coming near it. The episode was further told that the high priests witnessed the event of the arc about to fall to the ground. With perfectly noble intentions they run to recue it from falling. But noble intentions though valid proved insufficient --they were still struck down dead by the power of the almighty. Purification was necessary for the high priests to touch the arc of the covenant.
If the story told today, the tenor and jargon would be different. The high priests need to elevate their consciousness before daring to approach, much less touch the arc of the covenant. In other words, they need to elevate the vibratory rate of their bodies and consciousness to contain the passage of higher energies thought their bodies.
Some religious declare that nobody can see God and still remain alive. This corroborates the tremendous amount of energy that sweeps a creature in the presence of his Creator. this energy is capable of roasting dead the human flesh of a gross individual.
This leads us to second approach to opening the third eye. And this is by performing esoteric techniques, proven by scientific, that will elevate the vibratory rate of the body. At a certain vibratory rate the third eye, without summoning, naturally opens.

I am Afraid To Open My Third Eye.
I Don't Like to See Ghost.
Will I Ever Stand Their Sight? What's in it For Me?
It is a misconception that the third eye is a faculty to see ghost. Third eye or what we commonly call a sixth sense is a natural human faculty. One's readiness to use this faculty includes readiness to see its projections without the fear factor. An awakened third eye enables one to expand consciousness to perceieve beyond the physical plane and unto the physical plane beyond predictive deliberations of logic.
A word about ghost and elementals is that it is not within the scope of this column.
Moreover the normal vibratory rate of human is beyond that of elementals that we commonly call. Third eye is not a faculty to vibrate them. But humans who lower their vibratory rate though addictive use of drugs and alcohol and the persistent and chronic indwelling of negative thoughts and emotions in protracted intensity places them within arms reach, consciously or uncosciously with elements of lower vibratory rates.
This situation places one in an undesirable predicament: either one is control of these vibratory forces, which seldom happens. (who is in control of anger, distended longing or revenge?) or these lower vibratory forces are in control of you. Either way, you lose.
Hence, quite on the contrary, the third eye should take you from negative forces. At best, it equips oneself to master life-to handle crisis masterfully. A practical mystic is the endgoal of human life. One quickens his psychic faculties and applied them to achieve common human goals like success, prosperity, personal magnetism, vitality, and the like.

Behold, The Kingdon of Heaven is at Hand.
Is heaven a place? or is it a dimension of existence apart from what we enjoy now as the earth plane?
In the modern days when all conceivable types of scans have been invented, we still fall prey to what standard catechism teaches us that we do good now and we receive our rewards in heaven when we die. If it is not at all sinful to stop, think again and ask if this eternal promise is true, then is it not right to ask if heaven is really a promis of the afterlife and that this life in this "value of tears" are all wrought with suffering to which we attach the value of reward of the heavenly afterlife?
For the most part of our life, we are taught not to ask questions, especially with regards to our articles of faith. Yet with the sincerity of a childlike curiosity, we may stop to pose the question, is this life really meant for suffering? And is heaven really a far flung reward?
The Aquarian Gospel, taken from the Book of God's Remembrance, popularly called the Akashic Records, speaks of a heaven not beyond our reach in this lifetime. And that the real heaven is something we can and must attain in this lifetime. Not in the afterlife. In chapter 33 verses 8 and 9, Jesus said: "My brother, man, your thoughts are wrong; your heaven is not far away; and it is not a place of metes and bounds, it is not a country to be reached; it is a state of mind. God never made a heaven for man; he never made a hell; we are creators and we make our own. (33:8-9). It is the life that is filled with joy and peace (33:6).
From the passage, we know that heaven is the joy and peace that we create in our mind. So when joy and peace habitually resides in us, then we are in a state of mind called heaven.
The statement of one popular mystic corroborates with this insight. She once said that the experience of God is an ever living joy. So when we experience every living joy, then God is dwelling in us.
This is not difficult to accept especially when we recall the statement: the kingdom of heaven is at hand. If God is king, then there must be a kingdom. And if we experience joy, then God dwelleth in us.
Now where is the kingdom?
I lead you back to the Aquarian Gospel. In chapter 29 verse 19, Jesus say, this kingdom is not far away, but man with mortal eyes can see it not; it is within your hearth...
So when God dwelleth in his kingdom on earth, in the temple of man in his heart, then man feels the bliss of joy and peace.
The next question, is it God who takes the initiative to dwell in his kingdom on earth? The answer is yes. But there is a catch. And the catch is this: Is his kingdom on earth ready to receive its king? so this is where the God of your heart is waiting for each individual's initiative to prepare this kingdom fit for the vibratory rate of the king.
Now, how do you make the kingdom fit for the reception of the king? The secret is attunement. It is also the short path.
Use your power of suggestion. It only take 5 minutes two times a day or everytime you need to invoke your joy and peace to regain control of your heart. All you need to do is lightly close your eyes and feel the attributes of joy and peace. Sustain the feeling of joy and peace in your heart for atleast 3 minutes. Then let it vibrate and radiate into all parts of your body. Be sure to feel the tingling sensation as the bodily experience catapults. After 5 minutes, be passive. Forget your visualization. Just listen to the beating of your heart. When you get back to your daily chores, the experience shall set the mood of your emotions and calibrate your level of God-consciousness. Then even toil, hard work, and bad turns become bearable. And they should not blur the presence of your God in your heart.
Make this a habit. It works.

The Practical Mystics
By definition, mystics are those who have direct, intuitive and unmediated knowledge of the absolute. In the movie Matrix, the absolute refers to The Architect. In Star Wars, it refers to the Force. If this definition is invoked in religion, the absolute refers to God. If in philosophy, it refers to the One, the True, or the Good, or in a single word, the Nous. Experientially, the absolute as experienced by the mystics is a manifold reality that cannot be scaled by his consciousness. But this energy is convertible to the reality of one's choice!
Today, the mystics that we know of are the hermits that inhabit the mountains who were rumoured to have special powers, so they say, to heal the sick, raise the dead and even control the weather.
Nowadays, these mystic stories no longer amaze humans populating modern civilizations. It appears that these stories no longer leave a spirit of awe, even following, among us. And Jesus, among the great avatars and messengers of truth, seems to have lost his magnetic touch.
If Jesus will come to us in this generation, he will surely package his message of truth and love in the language of contemporary mind, spiced with the jargon of science and philosophy.
The mystics seem to manifest miraculous powers. But our scientific mind cannot just dismiss these phenomena wothout explaination. And here we find that miracles are actually explainable in the scheme of things in the language of physics.
Cutting edge physics have proven without doubt that the mind can control the movement of electrons-and this is old news a corollary of quantum physics of the 60's.
Going back to the scriptures, Jesus demonstrated how to use the power of the mind to manifest in the physical plane. "And Jesus with a mighty stirred up the enters till they reached the manifest, and, lo, the water blushed, and turned to wine." - Aquarian Gospel 70:13. Notice how the passage makes the miracle of transforming water into wine made plain and understandable to a scientific mind.
Then he goes on to say, "What I can do all men can do." A.G. 178:14. The only things that man shall work out is strengthening his mind and will to get what he wants. And the speed of manifesting anything at will separates the avatar from the aspirant. Yet through practice, this so called miracles or manifesting of thought contents into the physical plane becomes man's own.
This revelatory scriptures confirms and proves modern day trends in the use of the mind in creating your destiny in the guise of creative visualization. Jesus must be one of the precursors of mind power technologies. And if he were alive today, Jesus may be one of the reknowned speaker of Creative Visualization and other Mind Power Technologies.
Now we can understand how to contemporarize the use of mystical powers harnessed by hermits. We can harness this mind power to materialize our likes in all levels, to become successful in our chosen career, become a successful parent, student, attain peace of mind, attract prosperity abd good health and raise ones vibrations to attain higher spirituality.
Now practical mysticism can best be applied to get the things you want in life, to avoid suffering, and to be happy and experience inner peace.
Are these not our lifelong quest? And that our consciousness are just immersed in the murky mud of concerns of the lesser goods. Or that our inordinate will are not honed to attune to the inner powers of the soul in order to manifest those things that truly give us our innermost desires and at the same time attuned to the greatest peace of mind?
Jesus was emphatic in the practice of attunement in order to bring the kingdom of heaven on earth. And attunement is progressively attained with the practice of meditation on the heart.
Whenever you have 15 minutes or more sitting in inner silence, in the bus, in the sitting room, or while waiting for a friend, you can lightly close your eyes and pay attention to the beating of your heart. Once located, you can visualize your heart as a scintillating white light. Keep focused on this light while vibrating positive emotions of goodness, peace, harmony, prosperity, joy and the like. Keep the light and the emotion as long as you can -this is attunement. If you do this as your daily habit, you will notice that you gather energy and strength over you life.

Introduction to Christian Mysticism
By: Rudy Sanchez
Sub topic:
c) Why the Lack of Appeal of Christian Mysticism today?
d) The Need to Present Christian Mysticism From the Eyes
Who is a mystic?
A mystic is someone who has direct, intuitive and unmediated knowledge of the Absolute. Every culture has a distinct term for this Absolute. For the Jedi Knight of Star Wars saga, this Absolute is called the "force", popularized in the greeting "may the force be with you"; the Matrix calls it "the Architect"; some philosophies call it "Nous"; and most religions call it God.
Nowadays, mystics are unknown. They are associated with the hermits in the mountains and beyond reach. These hermits have incidental powers, like healing the sick, raising the dead and even controlling the weather. and if one looks closely, these are the same special powers that Jesus demonstrated in the annals of the New Testament:
These special powers, whether real or part of myth, have lost appeal to medern living. Nowadays, our actions are set against modern standards and new priorities. But if there is a way to translate this power to be healthy and avoid the haunting spells of sickness, to be abundant and happy, and to live a life of profound peace and heightened consciousness, then becoming a mystic assumes a new relevance and universal appeal. This is practical mysticism.
Hence, a mystic in contemporary definition is someone who is habitually attuned to the source of energy and force from within, where the God of one's heart resides. A practical mystic is able to translate this God force into a life of wellness, abundance, success and heightened spirituality. With this in mind, let is delve into the life, attitude and practice of Christian Mysticism in modern times.
What is Mysticism?
The answer to this question is elusive. The objective mind understands concepts and assumes it as reality. The more the mind objectifies, the more it is misunderstood. The better approach to understand mysticism is to interiorize the question with mindless attention. This effectively avoids discursive thought and theology to be created by mind.
Here one finds the distinction of intellectual knowledge and experiential knowledge helpful. In the long haul, intellectual knowledge inflates the ego and mystical experience is lost, while experiential knowledge transforms. In mystical experience, transformation happens beyond the comprehension of words.
Let us give an example. A friend of mine lost his career of 20 years. And in a bad stroke of luck, he is unable to land on a job in the last three months despite persistent efforts. The situation is complicated by the fact that he has mouths to feed and a life to live, not to mention the pressing need to run after the bills. "Sometime ago," he observed, "I thought I know the meaning of despair. I did not understand then why people in despair would plan to end their life. But in the last three months, my fighting spirit dwindled because of pain, struggle and despair. Now, I know despairfrom inside out."
I congratilated him. I said that experience was life transforming. Life transforming is a term in mysticism. One needs to experience it to make it life transforming. One cannot intellectualize the power od mystical attunement. The line that devides a theorist and a practitioner is abysmal-the former knows the concept, the latter the experience. The former will never understand the meaning of attunement. he will not be transformed with intellectual apprehension alone. He will not experience transformation.
My friend, like all other suffering individual, needs the technology of meditation to attune. In so many words, one mystic once said that God does not see that you are sick or suffering or poor or failed in your career. What God sees is that you, a member of his mystical body, are not attuned to Him. The practice of meditation od mystical attunement aligns you to the wellsprings of life-God. Then the grace flows and man, through the force of his soul, controls his destiny and grabs back his life.
This leads us to an experiential definition of christian mysticism. It is the discipline of mystical attunement through the practice of meditation. This attunement is directed to the God of your heart, the kingdom of God wothin, in loving presence and spiritual surrender. Then grace flows and the power of one's soul precipitates in one's life. But this must not be intellectualized. The better approach to understand christian mysticism and make it a part of your life is to experience it.
Why the Lack of Appeal of Christian Mysticism today?
The unfortunate stigma of mysticism is that it is usually aquated with asceticism or denial of the flesh and bodily pleasures. This perception was never corrected. As a result, the unspoken belief spilled over into our culture and one become uptight. This created a permanent scar in our spiritual culture as well. And then we witness the emergence of ascetic practices in the wrong places-flagellation, mutilation, even crucifixion especially during the holy week. If this belief system is generalized to apply to all facets of life, then mysticism loses appeal altogether.
The other factor that made mysticism repugnant to mainstream lies in the modern day interest in the areas of oracion, fortune telling, crystals, astrology, regression, even mediumship. This puts mysticism in bad and pejorative light.
The Need to Present Christian Mysticism From
the Eyes of the Man of the world
The Imitation of Christ" by Thomas A. Kempis is an excellent blueprint if one intends to develop this interior life. But as times change, the psyche of humanity evolves a new turn and perspective. Hence and same old truths must be presented as the same old solution to new human problems. Yes, God remains the solution to all problems-the problems on health, material abundance, success in life and peace of mind. But why is it that man seems not to find Him or the solution, despite efforts as intensified prayer, good acts, service to fellowman, and the like? Because man needs to resort the mystical methods. The challenge lies in revealing that these mystical technologies are the same old solutions to modern problems.
Man the Seeker
We can see how man seem to be lost. Experience in the earth plane is diverse and mainstream suffers. And a handful seek for answers and solutions beyond conventional wisdom. But this seeking becomes, at best, trial and error or, at worst, bound to perdition. Nowadays, seekers become misguided followers of fortune telling, crystals, regression, even mediumship. These attempts are an expression of the seeking soul. And the solution must lead us straight back to God. That is attunement, the highest form being mystical attunement.
Meditation, a Direct Method Towards Attunement
Why do we ask God for solutions to our problems? Does He not know our problems even without us telling him?
In prayer, we talk. In meditation, we listen, attune and absorb the force called grace. grace is an intelligent force. When the technology of attunement is done properly, it directly nourishes one's vitality. Then it overflows as precipitation of one's desired circumstances. Eventually, it awaken psychic sensitivity. Finally, it fuels our spiritual development. It may not happen in this order. Or it may not happen at all. The inner desires of the practitioner serve as a focusing apparatus. And the right mystical technology is required. The mystical approach is to attune in meditation. Then energy of grace flows and we generate enough force to solve our own problems, precipitate opportunities and change our lives.
Moses fasted for 40 days before he received the 10 Commandments. When you spend 40 days in prayer, you ran out of words and settle in insightful meditation or simply enjoyment of His loving presence for the most part. And in these encounters does God turn his eyes toward the practitioner and bless him the force that he needs. In modern parlance, this force is convertible to cash, to good health and happiness, to success and peace of mind. It is up to the practitioner where he deploys this force the moment he opens his eyes.
The Aquarian Gospel and the Path of Mysticism
This serves as an invitation for seekers to take the mystical path that Jesus took and to know the complete and detailed life and the mystical practices and teachings of Jesus the Christ. The mystical path is not an intellectual path. It is an experiential path. The Aquarian Gospel is not written in pedagogical form as the New Testament was written. One does not need a background in Theology to understand it.
For Christians who are content with what they know, the Aquarian Gospel is not for them. It is for SEEKERS. we have entered the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Revelation. It is the time when all the truth withheld from the faithful ARE REVEALED. The church has long kept the personal life and the secret mystical teachings of Jesus to protect the fragile faith of the multitude. In the light of his teachings, one learns meditation techniques for mystical attunement.
Generally, man has no brain cells to comprehend mystical experience, nor the faculty to sense it. All we know is that we wake up from meditation refreshed. Much later on, when we can leave body consciousness, one will register impressions that one does not have the language to express. The experience is subliminal and when it surfaces in your objective mind, you equate it with familiar impressions of positive vibes. But there are more secrets to be revealed to the initiated. Eventually, the mystical discipline focuses on establishing a degree of permanent attunement-that our inner consciousness vibrates in harmony with God.
It is best to suspend judgment, intellectual prejudice and belief barriers. It is best to explore it with an open mind and an empty cup. "Religion does not consist in talk, or doctrines, or books but in (GOD) realization. It is not learning but being," observed Vivekananda. "As long as man argues about God, he has not realized him. The nearer you approach God, the less you reason and argue. When you attain him, then all sound-all reasoning and disputing-come to an end. Then you go to Samadhi-into communion with God in silence." declared Ramakrishna.
Debate ends and doubt, in the guise of intellectual discussion ends the moment pne realized God in his attunement. The Aquarian Gospel was a direct transcription from the Akashic records, the Book of God's Remembrance. It is an excellent material to start one's seeking.
